Hello

how i programming the bc296d in VHF P25 :?:

my idea is RX the 146.850 repeater, that`s a Motorola Quantar in P25 mode, and analog also.

i follow the manual, step by step, but what means "BASE, SPACE, and OFFSET" configurations :?:

Im try to listen something in P25, because all the Motorola P25 systems here are ENCRYPTED

146.850 is apparently a conventional frequency, if so just program as such. Or do you have more frequencies to set in Motorola Trunking?

These three settings are used for setting up a Motorola Trunking system but are unused in conventional mode. If the system is Trunking, then please list the additional frequencies and any Control frequencies as well. With this information, we may be able to help you set it up.

Yes is a conventional frecuency, and will try to program as such in a bank channel.

Thanks again Frank for the information!!!

Humberto,
Hope you will find some non-encrypted communications.

I "Rounded the Horn (Tierra Del Fuego)" from Atlantic to Pacific in October, 1961 aboard the brand new aircraft carrier, USS Kitty Hawk. Then later we visited Valparaiso for a few days.

Good luck and Happy New Year.

Frank
