BC796D programming

I would like to know if the TWRA frequency 159.300 can be receive on the BC796D and can it be manually programmed into the scanner or does it have to be downloaded. I do not know very much about the digital scanners. I have a old SC 150 hand held, which does a good job but there are a few frequencies I do not get to listen to anymore because they went digital. What all has to be added besides the frequencies in the BC796D for systems using the APCO-25 to work.

i have a pro.2096 and manualy put in and working fine in gallatin...

i own a bc796d and apco works automatically there is no further programing to be done if its a digital frequency
