Hi folks,
I have a Uniden BC796D programed for
State of Michigan (M.P.S.C.S.) apco-25 system
Using the free software from Uniden I save the *.ssd file
and edit it with wordpad then write it back to the scanner.
Example:
Frequency,Description,Trunk,Att,Delay,Beep,Record,Mode,Steps,Tones,L_O,PRI
BANK,1,100
868.92500,"MPSCS Northville",On,,,,,NFM,12.5K,,,0
868.42500,"MPSCS Alternate ",On,,,,,NFM,12.5K,,,0
0.00000,,,,2sec,,,,5K,,L/O,0
TRUNK,1,100
0,,001010,Event-1
0,,001011,Event-2
0,,001012,Event-3
0,,,
up to 100 IDs only
BC796D Trunking tip:
Trouble reading manuals? try this.
1. press and hold down HOLD/2/9 keys then turn the scanner ON
2. Read current bank from scanner and save
3. Edit BANK,1,100 with your control frequency
4. Edit TRUNK,1,100 with at least 2 ID numbers any will do
5. send the file to the scanner and hit SCAN
6. Press down and hold TRUNK until it reads ID SEARCH
7. enter new IDs by pressing TRNFR/E/RSM keys
8. save/edit the new TRUNK,1,100 lines how you want them.
9. Write the file back to the scanner and run in ID SCAN mode.
