Hat tip to kruser in the railroad forums. Thanks for making me aware of the 400ms digital delay. I set all my airband analog to 0 and my scanner is behaving better on airband VHF and Milair 225-400.

Not sure if you have custom searches setup or not but those also have a digital wait time. Also in search/close call options.

Serious question, how exactly does that help with airband scanning? I have a BCD436HP and was going to try that for mine. Thanks in advance 
When the scanner detects a signal it will wait for whatever amount of time is set in that field (default 400 milliseconds) to see if it is an analog signal or digital signal. This will clip the beginning of the transmission. But if the signal could be digital, it will prevent the data from being heard for a split second.Serious question, how exactly does that help with airband scanning?
