Hi, I am using my bcd536 scanner and recording using Proscan to figure out Roanoke Electric. Proscan is recording transmissions and I can play back the audio, and I can see the talkgroups being used, but I don't see any slot numbers or CC numbers. Any suggestions? Thank you

The x36's do not always display slot information but when the do it looks like this 460.5000/1 or 460.5000/2
Take a look at the history log.txt file in the directory you specified via Menu --> Options --> Logging (tab) to obtain this info

This checkbox needs to be checked for history to be logged. Click the "History Log.txt Location" button if you're unsure where to locate the file. You can change the directory if need be

Thanks, I saw a couple of those on the Proscan UID logging page but wasn't sure what they meant. Do you know if it would display on the scanner itself (like when I am at a site trying to figure out what it's using so I can enter it in the database). I do take a Tyt ham dmr radio usually and put it on search and it will display the CC, TG and Slot but I am trying to do the same on the 536 or my 436.

Thanks

Richard

It should show the color codes in the tone column and the slots in the frequency column if the scanner is sending it.

Set this option if you want to see if the slots and color codes are being sent from the scanner.

Mine was showing off, I set it to All just now

Go to the folder ProScan is installed in and look for that file and use a text editor to see if the slots and CC show and if they do then they should show in the history grid.

Thank you for the advice. I have it sitting on a couple of frequencies over night and will check it in the morning
