As previously mentioned, all frequencies are in the database. That said, to improve the P25 decoding, take a look at this page:

Of course, the above only works it you have decent signal strength to begin with. I really like that radio and the P25 audio decode adjust makes a big difference.

@jp106 --If you're new monitoring LAPD, consider dividing the frequencies into banks or zones. LAPD dispatch frequencies have a high traffic load. You may find it more productive to monitor just the tac and special unit frequencies.

That's what I do too. I live in Topanga Div, so I keep that dispatch and simplex on, as well as Valley Traffic because that carries all "hot shot" dispatches for the Valley.

I live in Foothill Division. Just way too much chatter on the dispatch channels for me. I mostly monitor the tac frequencies, plus hotshot and air support and Metro. Same thing with the Sheriff's system.
