BCD325P2/BCD996P2 Update 1.08.01

Before applying this update, you should use software to back up all settings. Color Code, RAN, and Area Code will probably be changed to Search.

This update corrects an issue where these settings were not correctly registered in trunking mode. This primarily affected use with some 3rd-party software.

UPman, you might wanna test/confirm with one of your radios, this firmware patch wipes out Backlight Mode & Dimmer settings as well.

UPMan when you import NXDN TRUNKING SYSTEM with PROSCAN to a 996P2 the everything but the LCN's import correct

But I can Confirm that after setting the LCN's to match my 536 the 996p2 tracked this system perfect.

That is a ProScan issue that has been reported in the ProScan thread and that Bob said he's working on.

If you're refering to the 996P2, those settings are working fine on mine after applying the update.

Yes, applied the patch update 1.08.01 to the 325P2, and noticed my previous settings of Backlight Mode & Dimmer were not preserved. Thought perhaps you could test this out on a 325P2 see if you get the same result. Hope that is a little more clear?

No, it didn't break their functions. It just means I had to go into settings and change the mode and dimmer setting back to how it was. I'm going to reload the firmware again, and confirm that is what's happening for my own edification. Thanks for your reply.

UPMan, did another test on 325P2: rolled firmware back to 1.08.00, display settings remain the same. Applied firmware 1.08.01, display settings remain the same. Not sure what happened previously in my first post about this, but seems all is good. Thanks again for the effort in keeping these radios current. The Digital audio quality is such an improvement.

These updates are so much fun that I feel lost and lonely without them . . .

If I was Paul Opitz, I'd be tempted to send out some "placebo" updates to see who's really paying attention!
