Under Commonwealth Of, you have no Freqs (control channels) imported, therefore it will not showup or scan. You need to have the channels in red below imported for it to work on the Massport/Logan site.

1 (1)035 (23)Logan Airport/MassportSuffolk854.0125855.0625855.5875855.8125856.4375856.8125857.0125c

859.8125

Here is a corrected file

I figured it might be something like that. I imported from RR like I do anytime else and I got what I got

Works now! Thanks for all the help everyone! I will have to pay closer attention when I'm importing!

Learned a lot today! Thanks again!

I am having similar challenge with adding "Charlotte UASI" to my Uniden BCD325P2.
I cleared the scanner of all systems, downloaded reference "Charlotte UASI" into ProScan v23.5. Without making any changes, other than shortening some of the names, I uploaded to scanner. The scanner scans displaying "Meck Simalcast" which haas the 30 trunking frequencies including the 4 control channels.

When I hold and scroll to any one of the four control channels (ref post #19), I don't see anything similar (i.e., "SID:???") Also, some YouTube videos show "P25" on the right of the top row of the scanner display. I don't get that but the System Type is set to "P25 Standard Trunk". I have no Quick keys set and no L/Os. It's like the scanner is not picking up the control channels.

Another thing. I see "P25 Channel ID Table" at RR and I have done nothing with that - don't know what to do with it if anything.

I took a look at your programming file. The only recommendation I can make is to delete all the freqs except the 4 control channels, the extras don't need to be programmed in.

I would also use the Utilities tab to sort the TGIDs, other than that it being a simulcast system will probably cause problems on the 325P2, since it is not designed for simulcast.

Welcome to the RR forums:
You may be facing simulcast distortion if you're within range of two or more towers on the simulcast. Feel free to try the multipath mitigation measures in the wiki I linked but ultimately you'd be better off with a Uniden SDS100 or SDS200 to track simulcast systems

Thanks for this. I was scratching my head thinking that I didn't need all of those frequencies but wasn't sure. I removed all but the control channels. As other posts suggest, I may also be experiencing multiple simulcasts so I'll experiments with that too. One change at a time. thanks again!

I have wondered about that. I go back and forth between my 8-element yagi antenna pointed north (I'm near Pineville in that map) and the 6 inch antenna that came with the scanner. I appreciate the reference to the wiki. I'll dig into that.

My assumption is that the control channels should sound like a truck idling (data transmitting). One of the four control channels (highlighted) sounds like a prop plane and the other three are static.

When I L/O the weaker 3 channels, I'm seeing more success, though not 100%. 1746445826408.png

I know using 1 control channel is a single point of failure but for testing, I think this is evidence supporting your simulcast distortion theory.

I'll check out the wiki and mess with it later. I have to go to work so I can make $$ to buy an upgrade ( SDS100 or SDS200 ).

Keep the three weaker freqs locked out, the strongest is going to be the main control channel (others only used if main goes down). I would also try pointing the yagi at the Matthews tower and then at the Lake Wylie tower and see if either of them come in better.

You can also try pointing the back side of the yagi at the Charlotte towers to try and cut out some of the simulcast distortion.

Replying to my own reply.

I ran across this page on Control Channel Only where it lists scanners known to support CCO. I thought it helpful for future seekers,
