BCD325P2 - Problems with P2 Scanning

I currently have a BCD325P2 scanner, yet I notice I have trouble listening to P25 Phase 2 broadcasts where the audio is listed as TDMA. For example, I live within minutes of York County, Pennsylvania. Their county emergency operations are on a Project 25 Phase II system and their is audio is APCO-25 Common Air Interface Exclusive. Their Mode is listed as a TDMA Capable Group. And I wonder if the TDMA Capable Group is why I can't listen to the audio. See York County, Pennsylvania. I also notice the same thing with nearby Adams County operations, yet, Adams, Franklin County and Dauphin County all operate on the same shared system, just Adams is the only agency that uses TDMA Capable Group. Any input is greatly appreciated.

I personally think that it depends what area in york county you are in. For me I've found that the closer to the edge of the county I get I start to lose the reception. Other than that I have no problems receiving the system. I have a bcd996p2 and it works perfectly with the simulcast on this particular system.

On the York county pa trunked system it has a talk group for Penn State College York. I have heard no activity on it and noticed their conventional channel is no longer licensed. Has anyone been able to monitor it successfully?

You both may have good points. After adjusting the reception from Auto to 5, York comes in more. I don't make it into York County much, but over the summer when I had it on auto, I rarely heard anything. The current setting seems to work better. But I am also in the fringe right now in Mechanicsburg.
