How crucial is the "edit bandplan" option.
If you are scanning the P25 system, don't worry about the bandplan. It will load automatically from the control channel. If you are just scanning the digital trunked system, try turning squelch fully counterclockwise. That can sometimes help when receiving simulcast sites. Also, go into the scanner menu and try taking the P25 Threshold off of Auto and try all of the levels for best decode. Paul, the former Uniden rep, also suggested turning off digital AGC. That can help with garbled audio problems.
