I just used the Radio Shack CB MIC mount and some 3M mounting tape. Works Fine and can be undone easily, yet holds very good.

Hard to tell much from very small pictures but if it works for you then thats great!

Don't know, but when I get time this week I'll do a comparison against a known signal and post pics.

Just did a quick check. Still get 4 to 5 bars on my BCD396T signal meter tuned in to 242.4Mhz (Wheeler Army Airfield Info) using a straight and 90 degree BNC connector. I guess I need a spec an or another RF measuring device to notice a difference that small.

Do yourself a favor...get rid of the cobra and get a V1....the cobra is half a detector...or atleast make it level, you would be cutting your detection range by half with it like that!

Thanks I paid half of ($30) at RS, and I bought it to test out on the Laser that Honolulu PD uses. I still have yet to be caught in a trap. Although I do know it works as I've picked up traffic radar. A V1 is definitely on my wish list. How much did you pay for yours $300 plus?

yeah V1 is around 300 but well worth it.

U know when u get a laser hit it is too late, they already have ur speed!

But I think that cops in hawaii can still give you a ticket without a speed reading, so If I come flying at a cop doing 90 mph they'll still give me a ticket.
