BCD396T problem after ARC 396 upgrade

I'm using a BCD396T with the latest firmware. In order to connect with the RR database, I recently had to update my ARC 396 basic software to version 3.1.001 basic.

Immediately after the upgrade, the software failed to detect the scanner. I am using a Uniden USB Cable to connect the scanner to my PC. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

There are serious bugs in the latest versions of ARC software. If you look in the Scanner Programming Software Forums here on Radio Reference you will find numerous other messages which you can read about these problems.

The only bad thing about programming with a computer and a software program is that it doesn't teach you how to program your own radio.
