When using the --general zip code scan mode--, I am having the following issue:
I turned off all organizations except for Law Dispatch with a range of 1.0 from my zip code
I live in Tulsa Oklahoma, and listen to Tulsa Police Dispatch....
When placing the system I wanted to hear (Oklahoma Wireless Interoperability Network)
on hold, as well as site Tulsa Police, and channels for Tulsa Police, I noticed a slight
(but marked) delay in the scanner's ability to lock on to a TGID (Holding them side by side
with my BCD396XT)
(ie it was about 1 to 1.5 seconds delayed, thus slightly missing conversation.)
This was also after avoiding all other Tulsa Police TGIDs except for TPD'S three dispatch
channels, hoping this would solve the delay, since the scanner only had to scan these three.
However, when creating a favorite list, this above-mentioned problem resolved.
Anyone experience what I have mentioned (what is happening during -general zip scan mode-)
or could help me resolve this.
