BCD436HP/BCD536HP: BCD536hp GPS

I am trying to hook up thee Serial GPS Receiver for Uniden Scanners, to my 536 and can ot figure out what I am doing wrong. Everything appears to be connected correctly. But can’t get the scanner to “read” the gps.

I am not sure what scenario you have there in order to understand what is not working. Is it one GPS receiver for multiple Uniden scanners? Please re-read your post and maybe try rewording it to make it clearer. Thanks!

Check the bitrate settings. Ive seen some other threads discussing this problem in other non-SDS Unidens. You may need to try a bitrate other than what the specs call for, IIRC.

If it is the Uniden BC-SGPS Universal GPS Kit, the baud rate should be set to 9600. The BCD536HP defaults to 4800.
