BCD996T Cutting out , missing calls

I read a few tips about scanners cutting out out, I just cant find a sticky thread about it. Im in a town with a county sheriff , Local PD, University PD and the Casino police.

I'm getting a lot of calls that cut off. Any suggestions or tips.

I pushed the WX button, that seemed to help a little.

I just don't like hearing

John Smith licensed is suspended out of ______________ cut of,

then ,,,, roger that

or

warrant for Larceny, bond is ________________ cut off

Frustrating !!!!!!!

Close Call, Weather Alert or Priority are probably enabled.
