I remember a thread a while back that talked about showing the radius on a map, from a point, and then using that radius for a setting on the BCD996T.
For example if I put in a GPS coordiate for a system and want to view on a map a radius from that coordinate so I can tell which scanner setting to use (5 mile, 10 mile, 20 mile, 50 mile, etc). What software allows you to do that?
It seems as though I remember this conversation taking place before the scanner came out and everyone was talking about how they were going to set up their systems.
Let me restate what I'm looking for in case I've muddied the issue: What mapping software can I use to pick a point and from that coordinate draw a circle. From that circle I will get a radius to punch into the scanner to allow GPS control over a system. Somewhat similar to the picture in the manual of the overlapping circles.
Clear as mud??????? Thanks ahead of time.
