BCD996T Multi-Tower = Quick Key ?

I am programming a BCD996T.

I have a multi tower system that I am putting in along with several other systems.

If I set a quick key for each tower site, 1-72. Then set my other systems up on quick keys 2-99 are they going to over lap? Or does the tower sites have their own quick keys?

For instance:

System 1 Multi Tower Site Qk 1-72

System 2 Qk 2

System 3 Qk 3

etc.

When I press QK2 will it turn off Tower Site on QK2?

Should I put all tower sites on the same QK to avoid this?

They will "overlap."

When you press 2 while scanning, it will turn on/off all sites and systems assigned to SQK 2.

I avoid this by using the same QK for all the sites, but then using GPS to lock/unlock only the sites in range.

If all the sites are turned on, the scanner is going to spend time on every site that it can receive a control channel for at your current location. That may or may not be what you want it to do.
