Evening all, I just got a bcd996xt. I know on these models you can change the display color on the unit but can you have the color changed based in what your listening too or does it have to stay as one color

Yes you can change the alert function so red could be fire as an example you can also make it flash and add a beep or chirp
To identify the channel I use a beep for ch1 an 2 beeps for ch 2
