BCD996XT Programming

Ok Good afternoon,
I just bought a Uniden BCD996Xt and trying to program it with Scancat-Lite-Plus
unfortunately I am not being able to hear any Police radios I am in Grand forks area and the only thing i could pick up yet is the Air Port.

is the Police or sheriff radios P25 or Mot II 800/ or Mot II 900 , I am pretty confused.

According to the Radio Reference database it looks like Grand Forks Police is VHF P25 Conventional.
Check the database on this site for further frequencies.

It's been a year or two since I've been up that way but when I was there, the police radio traffic wasn't voluminous. Don't forget the state patrol and you can also probably pick up East Grand Forks (Polk county) from the air base.

Programming

i have the same scanner if you don't put the NAC code in and leave it as P25 you might sometimes lose some transmissions the NAC code for the whole area you in is 218 NAC the nac is like a PL tone or DPL tone also Grand Forks did use the 800 trunk system but they left it and went back to VHF conventional. have fun with that scanner you should start a feed??

Put in 152.4500 and see if you hear anything on it or maybe even get a pl tone for it...its supposed to be UND parking enf. Thanx !!
