I have my scanner locked on a freq. Every 4 or 5 seconds, the scanner audio drops for a second or so, then starts back up. All my settings look correct. Anyone familiar with this issue?

As Dave said, likely a priority mode.

No priority is set. And the scanner is on 1 freq, and doesn't "switch" to check another. WX appears on the bottom, and I cant seem to make that go away. Maybe thats the issue?
