Good morning.

When setting up the the Bell FleetNet Zone 1 there are several System Frequencies that are listed. Do I just need to get the towers that are close to me or do I need all the System Frequencies for it to work? I live in York Region so I guess the King City would be one of them I need, or do I need them all.

Thanks everyone.

If you're staying put just do the ones closest to you, King, Toronto, Britannia, Ballinifad, Whitby and maybe even Fonthill just to cover anything that may not be carried across multiple towers that you might want to select in a hurry. If you're mobile at all then add as many as you like, depending on your radio's capabilities. The more the merrier, but you may never see the radio using them.

If you're far enough north in York with good reception capability add Sunderland, Edgar & Primrose if you can receive any of them. That'll offer you some of the cottage country traffic that's not going to be carried on the GTHA area sites too often if at all.

The same goes for the Talk Groups. Only enter in the ones you expect to find on that tower. There is no point in entering in the Essex TG as it will never be used on the Toronto area towers. The same goes for the Status Bit, set your unit up to ignore it.
