Anyone know how this new service is being dispatched/toned out?
Yes. "MICCOM" doesn't "have" ambulances. They merely dispatch hospital based - and on occasion - the paying privately contracted BLS providers (eg Fuchs, back in the day). Are you sure it's a "new service"? MICCOM ambulances have been around for awhile.
In the link below is the BC OEM post about the new County EMS.Are you sure it's a "new service"? MICCOM ambulances have been around for awhile.
The same one they've been using for years - 155.175 (patched to NJICS). They are the 53x units. What frequency is MICCOM using to dispatch them?
Maybe so... but that's a system-wide "inconsistency", as their call signs via radio rarely (basically never) line up with the physical truck number. EG: EHMC Truck 2014 could be ALS 213 today and utilized as BLS 232 tomorrow.Interesting I believe the rigs are marked 501-504?????
