System is not really for prime time yet. It will be APCO 25 however. You will probably outta luck with the 97.

As of today they are still using 477.1625 and 477.1875 in conventional mode so I don't know when they are changing over. When they do make the switch, I will no-tify the group. Rumor has it that most of the county stuff is going to be encrypted anyway so it doesn't matter!

From what I’ve heard, some talk groups will be encrypted, but not all (the usual suspects will be encrypted – Narcotics, SWAT, Bomb Squad, Warrant Squad, and Prosecutor’s Office investigators). Perhaps we’ll still be able to monitor the Patrol talk group and the County Wide Alert group.
Rumor also has it that the County is building out a system that will provide in-building portable coverage to a relatively large area. This with the hope that many municipalities will scrap their own stand alone systems and transition over to the County operated trunked system. Expect any municipalities currently being dispatched by the County to be primary targets for relocation.
Who besides Ridgefield is currently being dispatched by BCPD Communications?
