I'm not sure if this is all because of propagation or because of antenna issues or Tower issues or weather...

Fuzzy memory says I have done this before. Anyway, a reminder, the system in Somerset County consists of sites (700/500) that may or may not be co-located.

Some sites are stand alone 500, some 700, some both.

Bernards is covered by a mix. The following simulcast sites put signal into Bernards.

Bernards PD HQ 700 only (not on paper).This site has a small service area. Voller’s Tower by the overlook 500 only. Miller Lane both 500/700 and lastly Watchung 500/700.

Depending on your location depends on signal strength AND how much multi path you actually get. Bernards gets a fair amount of multipath (terrain) which of course varies with the amounts of foliage and the seasons.

Some receivers of course are just terrible with multi-path (staying off the soapbox).

Johnston Drive has had it past and recent share of woes with signal output as well.

700 control channel signal is weak again, 700 voice channels are strong. So, the system is now spotty on the 700 in my area, while the UHF is full signal.

I have seen TRS systems have power amplifiers on the CC fail, this leaves low power exciter RF only. All the voice repeaters are unaffected as they are different repeaters.
