Just wondering whats the best material to use for yagi elements. I have read where other people use stuff from coat hanger wire to welding rods.
I have stainless steel hollow tubes 5/16 in diameter. Whould this material be good for yagi elements? They are pretty tough to bend even though they are hollow on the inside. Being hollow I'm not sure if it will affect performance.
Don't want to get the hacksaw yet till I figure out what would be best for yagi elements. I plan on making a 10 to 15 element yagi. I heard from previous post the more the better? I'm going to use a metal boom so I could add more elements regards of the weight. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
