I'm interested in getting a program to easily program and control my 785d. I was looking at Uniden's E-Scanner Plus Software ES200DL, and it's 70.00 dollars.

Two things I want to know...

1. Is the E-Scanner Plus worth the money? What are your opinions of it?
2. Do you have a recommendation other than the E-Scanner software, and if so, please provide me with a location I can read up about it.

Thanks....

I have been looking for the same thing. HERE is a site haves links to 15 or so for the 785D. It is the first scanner you come too as you scroll down. FYI, The 785 group on yahoo had voted ARC250 the best at one time.

I have a license for:
ARC250/785 full (best overall, plus the freq grabber and soon to be, TG grabber are great)
ScanControl full (Great for logging) also (IMO, best software for the Pro-2052)
E-Scanner Plus (worthless IMHO, I paid 100 bucks  for this stuff 2 years ago when nothing else was available)
WinScanDP (no remote)
TrunkManager (no remote, but has an affiliate program RadioManager which will) also (most difficult to use IMO)

I have also tried TrunkStar demo (not worth the big bucks IMO)

I use Scan Control. Works well for me, In addition to a 785D, I also have a 245, 250D and a 780 which all work with Scan Contorl.
