Best way to stream my output?

Hi. I have a Uniden EZI33XLT scanner and a windows 10 computer. Whats the best way for me to stream the audio output to OBS streaming software on my computer? Any links to products would be great.

Connect your scanner audio output to your computer line-in/microphone and then add your line-in/microphone as an input source in OBS, adjust the volume and your are done

Thanks. So I could use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm?

Yes you can. Just keep in mind that scanner output is mono (that's to be said for 99,99% of radio equipment). So if you plug in a stereo cable you will see only one active channel on your computer. Generally that is the left one but there could be some exceptions. If that's something you don't want you could use mono to stero cable or you could do a software mix.
