better antenna? 5/8 over 5/8 vs 1/2 wave?

well I cant thank you enough for helping me! I use for my Skoda Fabia [ CB 27 MHz Mobile Antenna, TRIFLEX CB / AM-FM / GSM 900 ] and I plan to add [ UHF (0.3-3 GHz) Mobile Antenna, SU 375-480 PL ] with my GE Ericsson Orion

Does it matter if there is another antenna on the roof near the UHF antenna? ex: Cb antenna ML 145.

Does it matter? It depends on how you define it. Yes, there is some interaction. Yes, it will impact the pattern, particularly of the higher frequency antenna. How much is subject to too many variables to answer here. But in general, like LtDoc said, you won't notice.

There are several things to consider when installing antennas on a vehicle. Space them as far apart as practical, but you will NEVER get far enough away to avoid all interaction. Deal with it. Aesthetics matter on a vehicle. Make it look good. Measure carefully, line them up on the same reference lines, not too close to edges, etc. Give some thought to how the final installation will look.

Then there's ease of installation. No point installing in the center of the roof if you have to destroy the headliner to get to it. Figure out the easy way to run cables and drill holes, then figure out how to make it look good.

Install it carefully and correctly, and performance will just fall into line. Yeah, the omni pattern might be more egg shaped, but unless you do something grossly wrong, you won't notice it a bit.
