BFDX BF-TD505 Help

Hey everyone

First time posting so sorry if this is in the wrong area?

We recently got a BFDX BF-TD505 radio with a race car we purchased and the previous owner said he used this in car to talk with the pit crew
He included a programming cable with it but he said he had no idea how to do any of that stuff

When connecting the radio to the software we are prompted with program password box which i assume I need because when ever we try to read the radio we just get a message saying "The device can not access"

I have tried reading out to BFDX/Belfone with no success

Just wondering if anyone had any suggestions or am I pretty much sitting with a small paper weight for the future?

Programming passwords are often created by the user. Have you reached out to the previous owner (or their tech support folks) to see if they might be able to provide the password?

Yup first thing we did but they said they had no idea what it would be as they never set it up. While this was only a bonus in the car purchase just thought it would have been great to get it going
