I spent some time listening to the Interop channels Big E security/police and Fire/EMS are frequently on today.

So far I have found the following in use:

VTAC13 - Police/Security
VTAC34 - ??
UTAC43 - Police/Security
UTAC42 - Fire/EMS
8TAC93 - Possibly PD/Security

So far, haven't heard anything patched to LOCPS TGs, though I did get a few hits on 2049-Mass Event 1, but not enough to tell if fair related. It sounds like VTAC13 and UTAC43 are patched tougher, but the UTAC freqs are scratchy in my location so I can't conform 100%.

Likely you are hearing [as mentioned over at SNE] the Tri-Stack where Mass and other states
have a permanent patch for 13/43/93, 12/42/92, 14/44/94 depending on where in the Commonwealth
as the 800's are generally allocated as TWO per County to prevent overlap and interference

Confirmed 9TAC93 patched as well.

no on the pictures i know from seeing it from the past there.i think 453.47500 ch belongs with the police dept because of the nac being E91 it’s listed as westspringfield fd on a other page with the nac being FD1 can some figure if 460.41250 belongs with fire instead of pd i heard some scramble on this ch a little bit ago there might be some confusion. i’ll try to listen to 460.41250 see if it comes up with and other scramble noise.thanks

460.41250 is the main fire which I heard in the clear earlier Thursday but I was listening only momentarily not sure if it stayed clear throughout the rest of the day. When I tried listening months ago on 453.475 when it was active I remember it being scrambled not sure if that also changed. FYI their P25 transmission types on all west side related channels uhf are the more difficult psk type that seems to be harder to decode with many receivers. It may explain the garbled noises.

someone needs to fix the database to update the correct listing for pd shouldn’t be 460.4125 for pd it should be 453.475 what nac showed up when u heard it should be FD1

The entry in the DB was accurate at the time of the switch, if it is no longer accurate, then it will be updated. I asked someone I trust who lives there to verify it all for me. When he gets back to me, I will change and update if needed.
Thanks.

OK so 460.4125 is confirmed FD primary with an NAC of FD1h. Waiting on confirmation that 453.4750 is PD with an NAC of E91h/ENC.
The mystery is 460.1125 which is likely FD secondary. (They had two FD channels in their 800 days)

I am getting this squared away from a friend in the area, and what information he gives me, will be what goes into the DB.
There are too many changes, back and fourths in this thread to be reliable at this point.

460.1125 is FD primary (NAC of FD1h), 460.4125 is PD primary (NAC of E91h), as is listed in the directories.
The online databases at Scan New England and Radio Reference are correct.

PD is also active on 453.4750 with the same NAC (E91h) and is also fully encrypted. PD has a third channel, 453.5375 (E99h), and like the first two, also fully encrypted.
