Black Cat SSTV and Bitdefender conflict

Hello!

Anybody here running Black Cat SSTV? It was running fine on my laptop, at some point last week, Bitdefender updated and now I am having a hell of a time getting it to launch. It's flagging Black Cat SSTV having a Trojan?

After a few emails back and forth with Chris over at Black Cat, he has come to the conclusion there is some sort of problem with the Bitdefender. I have attached screenshots.

I have changed the exceptions on the antivirus/firewall/advanced threats/deleted and redownlaoded Black Cat and still get the following popups shown on the screenshots.

The only time I can run Black Cat SSTV is when the antivirus if off! I also have Black Cat WeatherFax and it launches good.

I had a similar issue with the Whistler TRX2 EZ Scan program a while back, I had to put that program into the advanced threat exceptions and launches good.

Any ideas? Solutions?

Personally I use RXSSTV. Never ran into problems for a year of use and still ticking.

I have RXSSTV as a backup. I did find the problem this morning, the wrong path entered into the exceptions field. All is good.

I had a similar issue with EZ Scan software and Bitdefender a few months back. I had to go into the bitdefender software an make an exception for the software. Once I did that, the EZ Scan software worked fine with bitdefender active. May be the same thing is needed for this software.
