Hi guys.
my bnc on my 2-- pro 106's has lost it's grip on the antenna.
The 2 -knubs- that hold the antenna down are rubbing away.
I change antenna's on a regular basis and ware -- tare -- has worn them down.
i got a guy who is knowledge-able in that area,
but I want to be positive I got the right piece.
4pcs BNC Jack Female to F Type Jack Converter Straight RF Coax Adapter 75 Ohm | eBay
2 Pcs BNC Chassis Panel Mount Socket Female Solder Type Connector Adapter | eBay
I saw the insides already, pretty scarey.
Can anyone help?
Thaks

Take the 4 screws off the back & the 2 inside bottom of the pro 106 & pull apart easy & look at the antenna base to be sure.

I think I have the same issue- antenna is lose- reception is spotty.

I had already taken my 106 apart and looked as was suggested above (I did so before I read the post), at any rate following those directions on mine does not enable a view of the base internally? The BNC connection base is obscured by a bright metal box that appears to be soldered to the board. Not wanting to do more harm than good at this point I just put it back together. Any thoughts on this piece of "shielding" shall we call it?
