I'm wondering if the fact that Ada Country Police, ISP, and Treasure Valley Fire all going offline is coincidental or ??

Thanks for the feedback. I'd love to volunteer. Is there some cost-effective hardware that I might be able to consider? Most that I've seen runs around $400...quite expensive.

a raspberry pi, rtl-sdr and a cheap wire antenna < $50.

oh, and broad band internet.

How long have the feeds been offline? A feed broadcaster has 21 days to bring a feed back online after it goes down. After 21 days, the feed is deleted. If the feeds have only been down a couple of days, it might be a temporary problem and they might come back. Or not.
