Only the minimal hits on 519 and 533 as indicated in the log. Did see some more Bossier traffic in LWIN, but the total volume/quantity of traffic looks way off. They have to be talking somewhere. Wonder if the have a smaller backup system for emergencies that they've reverted to? Any suggestions for discovery scans? I have time, but not a lot of experience with these SDR boxes (the last scanner I bought before this one came with crystals).🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

So, the decoded messages logs are rather large so I took a small snippet but can upload the full-size log if we need it. DECODED Message Logger20240904 221042,PASSED,<-> SYNC LOSS - BITS PROCESSED - Pastebin.com
After combing through the audio recordings from last night into this evening seems like there is a known issue with the 700 system they are working on and it keeps dropping as indicated on the audio message below.
The audio file is from the 800 system TG 521 at 7:00:47 PM tonight if anyone else recorded it and this link doesn't work.

Other TG's recorded were:
513 - secondary dispatch or 3rd
515 - 4 audio recordings no real info just talking between cars.
519 - dispatch
521 - BCPD running nothing but licenses every entry is name and DOB for warrants etc
533 - 3 hits no audio
543 - BCPD doing special operations (narc) and or targeted areas lots of calls between UC vehicles and on foot calling out vehicles for visual violations that are good for "stops" same TG as 13534 I believe.

Does anyone know if Shreveport Communications is who handles their Radio equipment at a tower level, or would that be a bigger outfit? They used to handle install and removal of radios in vehicles and other accessories.

Here's what the Events look like on the BC LWIN Tower CC without any audio.

Here is what it looks like on the Shreveport LWIN Tower CC with audio:

One final observation is I see PHASE 1 CHANNEL GRANT PRI4 CIRCUIT on the working CC Shreveport LWIN freq but im not seeing that on the Bossier one.

Confirms what I heard on LWIN about "going to Zone B".

LWIN 700mhz - A
AAB 800mhz - B

I assume they are NOT migrating to 800, its there as a backup.

Other TG's recorded were:
Thanks for this. I submitted 521 as Police - Ch 2 INFO. Similar to SPD, BPSO, CPSO; all seem to have an INFO channel. Which makes me want to go back and start reconfirming LWIN talkgroups, as I know some are off.

All local LWIN sites sounded good today to me, voice and sdr. Not a peep on AAB P25. I feel we're learning alot.

Can you confirm your picking up audio on 1BD the Bossier LWIN P25 tower 769.10625?

No luck for me, I re-imported the RR db entry into sdrtrunk but same result no audio but it shows like they are talking. I checked the TG's to make sure they are all enabled for audio. Not sure what else I can rule out being my software issue.

Well like I said. The 1BD Bossier City range of digital decode is and has always been crap for me. I happened to be really close to the tower. I’m also horrible at sdrtrunk, sorry. Maybe another forum will have the people you need to talk to to figure it out for you. I know it’s very popular. Or you just may be in a bad interference area for that particular site.

Since all the talk groups affiliate with both Shreveport and Sentall sites, You’re not missing anything at all with Bossier City site not loaded. Don’t quote me on that, Just my observation working in town for the past year ish.

Good news is we are learning where they go for backup….

My signal was always better on the Bossier tower VS Shreveport. I think it’s going to be a them problem as it worked and stopped and I wasn’t the only one. Could be my proximity to the tower currently if the signal is degraded. It’s enough of an issue that they are swapping to the 800 system on an irregular basis.

Small Update: No real usage of the P25 800 system other than a few radios on the wrong system by accident. TG 577 several recordings of testing microphone quality.
I'm seeing hits on the LWIN BCPD, but not getting audio.

Are you tuning into the Bossier City CC Freq or Shreveport? Shreveport, Greenwood, Vivian, Bellevue, Plain Dealing, and Sentell sites work fine with audio on LWIN.
Using whatever the configuration is in the LWIN that downloads within Uniden's Sentinel software. Would it be better to manually configure the site? Can I copy and paste it to my favoites from RRdb?

Note: Found an unpublished TGID 13596 for Bossier City PD. It appears to be a Car-Car channel. Just heard a 10-hit conversation about where they were going for beers tonight.....:ROFLMAO:

BCPD has many published errors and tons of unpublished ones. I’ll admit I submitted a few mistakes before I got into sdr and learned what patches were. They also have 3-4 that are nothing but surveillance/ tactical and another 3-4 that the occasional car to car chat.

I’m going to start getting the published ones corrected….if I can hear a confirmed channel number as it’s what they go by.

They only have 1 “dispatch”. The rest are tac / talk channels that are often patched. For example.

Also something I almost forgot about: BPSO and BCPD have mixed talk groups starting with 135.. and 136.. the true agency is hard to distinguish without listening for locations and / or tracking radio ID’s

I added 13596 to the wiki for LWIN as it was not there. From my recordings it’s definitely a targeted activity channel non dispatch. I try to keep notes of TG info in the wiki as well before submitting as I don’t always listen to all my recordings.
