Subject: Weld County Woman Killed in Rollover Crash:
On July 20, 2008 at approximately 2:55 AM a 1996 BMW 325i driven by Autumn Jansen age 20 of Evans, CO lost control on eastbound Isabelle Rd. one mile west of Colo. Hwy. 287. The vehicle first ran off the right side of the road for 125 feet, crashed into a construction barrel and travel another 96 feet off the road. The vehicle then overcorrected and ran off the left side of the road rolling at least three times. Jansen who was not wearing her seatbelt was eject from the rolling car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Kelley Kampman age 20 also of Evans was a passenger in the vehicle, Kampman who was using her seatbelt suffered moderate injuries and was treated at Good Samaritan hospital.
Alcohol and or drugs are suspected to have been a contributing factor.
Toxicology tests are pending.
