im lost garys,

that link is from september.
its december and theres a firmware/rebanding update for the 246t, 996t, bct15, and 396t.
it does not mention if there is or isnt one for the 330t.

i thouhgt id ask because even though the 330t is older, it is still a DMA scanner from Uniden

Close Call DND: I sure wish I had thought of this mode earlier so that we could have included it in the BC246T, BR330T, and BCD396T, but this update takes care of that.

I'm so glad this release is going to have CC DND.

I enjoyed it somewhat on my BCT15, but it really made no sense for me to have it on my BCT15 and not my BR330T.

My BCT15 normally sits at home in an area where I don't really have to look for new frequencies, yet I use my BR330T when I'm traveling somewhere, which makes sense why it should have CC DND.

Though, my real dream would be some sort of logging device for the scanner that's basically bcTool in your pocket. I mean that it would record the audio and log the frequency and tone. That's probably asking for too much though.

I wonder if my still present problem will go away. It still does this after Uniden inspected it and found nothing wrong. I knew I should have video taped the problem in action and sent it to them, being they were in I think Texas and could not replicate the systems it does it on. I am eager to try this update.

It also would have been nice to have seen TV service search replaced with a Mil Air specific search in its spot since the air search only goes from 118.00 to 136.9750.

What you could try would be to put bctool on one of those palm pilot things running windows ce or something similar that has a big memory card. I have run bctool on my laptop in the truck and logged a lot. I don't really log audio tho.

I guess you could do that aslong as it has USB or Serial.

Just kinda sucks, I already have an iPhone plus N810, but maybe if the Palm or whatever is not that expensive, but if it's $200+ that kinda would be high just for running bcTool, even if it would be nice.
