Robertson Co. Springfield area has moved from the 460 mhz to the new TACN 800mhz system between Oct and Dec 2025. the 460 mhz system is now a ghost of the past.
Just before the move, probably a few months I began to get a strong signal on any radio attached to a base antenna. (turns out a new TACN is from a tower 2 city blocks away from my home) not a new tower just new Antennas.
Everything needs ether a filter or attenuator. uhg. good news is almost everything I listen to is there with no need to add other sites.
Springfield PD, Robertson Co. Sherrif are now 100% encrypted. Bummer but was expected.
My question now is, Are they restructuring site numbers? the reason I ask is that every software I use to discover systems, freq etc is reporting this site as 35 but accourding to radio reference database 35 already exist.
for example..
Site: 1.35 NAC=2A5 BSI=WRYL867
SITE BEE00.2A5-1.35
SysID=2A5 LRA=0 RFSS=1 Site=35 CC=851.7125 SC=70
000851.71250000 <-----CONTROL CHANNEL
000852.06250000
000852.38750000
000852.75000000
000853.50000000
000853.80000000
Am I missing something?
