The radio service has been busy today working on the Brantford Fire P25 system. They have activated several new TG's , that I'm guessing are for the Fire fighters challenge happening on the 25th in Brantford.
So far they have added TG514, 517, 518.

On another note, The Brantford P25 system is broadcasting all sorts of info on DSD+ Fastlane.
All truck numbers are now being displayed as well as Police car numbers and portable users by name.

Maybe when you have most logged you could share the .radios file or the Brantford portion of it. Not a super priority but maybe something for me to have in my master list.

I heard the radio techs doing checks on the County DMR system and SNGR fire channel as well. Maybe they are trying to patch these channels into the P25 system for easy access on the consoles since Brantford dispatches for both the county and SNGR FES?

The County was patched yesterday on TG517 of the P25 system. However, they responded to a call this morning and it wasn't patched, so it is possible they are testing a permanent patch for these departments.

One thing I noticed is the same 4 ID's keep affiliating to group 515 on the system which makes me suspect these are station radios.

I have seen lots of affiliations to that TG. I suspect it's a home TG rather than a system registration.

So looks like they have some logic to the RID

For PD/ByLaw/Parking
21xxx base/dispatch (other then that k9 one might be a miss programmed radio?)
22xxx heat units
23xxx portables
24xxx mobiles broken down by vehicle #

FD
51xxx Dispatch
555xx Trucks broken down by truck number
59xxx Portables broken down nice and simple to truck number+ each portable

Similar to how Chatham-Kent has theirs. Nice and simple. You can see what type of radio or vehicle it is just by looking at the RID

That's an interesting one... They must be testing/using BeOn as well. I know London did some testing with it, not sure if they ever ended up using it.
