Just heard a dispatch from ISP looking for a guy who stabbed an officer, I think they said Columbus, IN. Anyone else hearing this?

Suspect arrested in Columbus officer stabbing

Lt. Joe Richardson of the Columbus Police Department said the officers responded to a disturbance call.
Richardson says the injured officer and a second officer responded to a property dispute on Hutchins Avenue Tuesday afternoon. After they checked to see if anyone involved in the dispute had an outstanding warrant, a man involved in the argument drew a knife and a struggle broke out. Police fired a gunshot, and the man stabbed one of the officers before fleeing the scene.
The injured officer was transported to Columbus Regional. That officer's condition is not known, but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police apprehended the suspect after an extensive search. The Columbus Police Department and Indiana State Troopers took part in the search.
Reports indicate the suspect suffered a gunshot wound to the arm.

He is on leave for the armed forces and is 18 years of age. Hes armed with a AK-47, a shotgun, and a ammo vest. He is targeting the general public.

As of 8am the subject has turned himself in to a North Judson police officer. At the time of arrest no weapons were found on his person. He did lead officers to the weapons.

that's good news for him and his family...I heard that BOLO put out yesterday and my mouth dropped...I'm very glad this individual turned himself in. Hopefully will receive the help he needs

Boone County put it out to all in the area including Zionsville PD ,Heard a freind of mine over at Zionsville PD who is a patrol officer on the street answered the call from Boone County.The reason why you did not see anything about it on the Newsmedia or in the paper is becuase they did not know about it.
Was wondering if you caught that usswood, saw TG 20672 on the PRO106 (wildcard enabled). I thought at first they were INDOT until I looked the TG up (LOL). I think they were using a GPS to track a vehicle.
