Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have a pistar hotspot I don’t really use anymore and had a is this even possible idea? Is it possible to broadcast radio traffic from a single let’s say fire dept feed on broadcastify over the air through my hotspot to my radio (low power of course so I would only hear it in my house) yes of course I could just open my phone and use that but I was wondering if it was possible?

Possible...yeahhh...most likely.

Legal on Amateur Radio? No.

This seems more like an Allstar or Echolink type scenario. I dont think the hotspot knows what to do with the broadcastify stream.

Or you could send the audio to a transceiver that has vox enabled, but not on amateur freqs. And, you need different license for non-amateur freqs.

If you are talking about broadcasting public safety frequencies over amateur radio, you might want to acquaint yourself with 97.113(c).
No station shall retransmit programs or signals emanating from any type of radio station other than an amateur station, except propagation and weather forecast information intended for use by the general public and originated from United States Government stations, and communications, including incidental music, originating on United States Government frequencies between a manned spacecraft and its associated Earth stations.
