Broadcasting Audio Hum Issue

Hello, I've been broadcasting a local city for some time now and I've tried multiple things to try to eliminate the hum, anyone else have any thoughts on it, here is the stream to get an idea of what it sounds like. Brockton City Police Live Audio Feed

What is your setup? And if it is a radio or scanner, and audio-out jack to a computer, do you have a ground loop isolator?

I currently have a bct15x connected to a small basic antenna with ground loop isolator connected to the scanner side on the computer side, its just a laptop.

its a usb soundcard external with it plugged into the mic port

im trying to get the whole thing to just sound better

Hmmm, indoor antenna and RF interference might be next thing to check. Try moving antenna around and even sticking out a window if possible to see if that helps.

I wonder if the record jack can change how the audio sounds

I was getting ready to post and tell you to plug into the rec jack but looks like you figured it out. I had that problem when I first started out and that is what I did. Mine has been working great almost 15 years now.
