Bucks County TRS question

the bucks county phase 2 p25 system has 24 sites transitting on the same frequencies at the same time, you only want to hear one of them...cheapest solution is stick the stock antenna into a hole in the side of an empty paint can. you'll get improvement with a yagi, this is the best way though

"Best way"? I don't think so. Best way is to get a real radio that works. That way one does not have to tote a paint can or yagi around with them :lol:

I picked mine up gently used for less than $600 via private sale. As shown here, I was able to pick up Bucks Co from Lower Merion, Montco with an 800mhz Radioshack antenna, full bars & great signal quality, 15 to 20 miles from the nearest tower? Unheard of with any other scanner radio!!

Was the 'air rushing' noise in the background from the SDS or something else?
