Building a PC Interface Cable

I'm new to all this scanner stuff, but using the links here found some free software to interface with my PRO-95 scanner. Obviously I still need the cable to connect the scanner to my PC. Radioshack sells one, but it looks like a rip off to me. Has anyone built their own cable, or found a place to buy these cables cheap?

I am guessing you found Don Starr's Win95 package. If so, when you downloaded it you should have taken a look at the Programming Cable Information page on his site. It will answer all of your questions except for finding cheap already built cables. I recently looked around and it seems like inflation has raised just every one's price; however, you may still find some on EBay for less money. Hope this helps.
