Is anyone listing to fire ground operations for the Bull Run fire on Mt. Hood? Trying to figure out what frequencies are best to monitor for ground crews and helo operations...

The best resource for finding the initial air attack frequency is in a TFR. I like to use SkyVector: Flight Planning / Aeronautical Charts click on the red tfr area and then on the next page click on “NOTAM text” on the right side of the page. This is the frequency that air attack will be talking to incoming air resources. Sometimes they will tell a helicopter what the helicopter frequency is.

As for ground frequencies, scan the frequencies listed in the database for Mt Hood National forest and NIFC frequencies. National Interagency Fire Center (United States) Scanner Frequencies and Radio Frequency Reference

The air attack frequency for the Camp Creek fire is 126.575 mhz AM.
