The input frequency is not shown in the database. I may have it but my house is being remodeled and finding the information now would be very difficult. If someone else has the info they could get it to you much faster as its going to be a couple of weeks before we start unpacking the boxes stacked in the middle of all our rooms.

last night was the first time I heard a BLM ranger on the county fire channel doing a license plate check. I'm guessing they are going to be station at Fort ord now that it's a national monument. Does porterville still dispatch?

EDIT: Just heard traffic bakersfield field office fire net on foot fort ord.

Until at least 2010 the 166.75 Law Net uplink for the Arcata Area (Ukiah District) was 168.300. They're hard to pick up from my location, or else they don't say much. Or both. I'll program them back in and try to confirm whether it's still good.

Are you sure? 168.300 is the BLM's California Scene of Action frequency. Each BLM State Office has one or more SOA's. I believe it was the input to 166.750 when this frequency was the Susanville District's net. That net was disbanded about 15-20 years ago. Sometime since then the BLM California Desert District found another input frequency to use as a law enforcement net. The Central and Northern California Districts may be using it as well. As can be expected information is very sketchy for the law enforcement nets of the federal natural resource agencies. Even the employees of these agencies don't get this information in the annual frequency info contained in booklets for each Geographic Area Coordination Center.

I tried to find my 2011 information on natural resource agency frequencies in California at home on Sunday, but the mess of remodeling is hiding it. A week or two is needed before I can see IF I have this frequency.

172.725?

As a matter of fact I see now that I was way off about last hearing 168.300 as the Law Net uplink. This morning I found an undated but possibly c2005 note in my stuff about that being "BLM Scene" here (Ukiah/Arcata), and BLM Law having 172.725 as the uplink to 166.750.

I've had the old and new BLM frequencies scanning all day in a separate scanner, but didn't hear as much as a squelch tail, so I can't confirm the 172.725 yet and I'm not holding my breath considering how quiet they 've been in the past.

I'm glad someone else had information on this. I was able to dig around in the mess of my condo yesterday and found a map that shows the locations and tones of the law enforcement repeaters of the BLM's California Desert District. This map is probably 10 or more years old so the information is probably not all that good.

I would also like to see the official "lineup." My source of official information does not show any of the law enforcement nets of the USFS, BLM or NPS.

From an old reference I see it as the input Statewide but USBR uses it in NorCal as a P25 repeater output (N526). It's somewhere outside of Sac.

Any luck?

Just wondering if anyone was ever able to locate the input frequency or confirm the one which was mentioned in an earlier post?
