Reading through the skew thread made me curious about how the platform deals with multicast transmissions. For clarity, I mean when multiple TG are selected on a dispatch console, and the system uses one repeater with all the TG attached to that transmission. Will the Calls platform put that call audio through to all the TG?Just the first in the stream? Have the one stream pointed to by all the relevant TG streams?

Edit: I am used to dealing with these on MPSCS, and presume that other systems have this capability. My county used them for dispatching multiple agencies at the same time, to the same call.

My experience is that it gets logged on each separate talkgroup. But it really depends on the system, setup, what truly is multicast etc.... also the broadcasting client.

So, I guess the answer is "it depends"
