Dohh.. Nevermind, I figured it out.. My computer was set to wrong timezone. Disregard. Can anyone help me out. I reinstalled a fresh windows 10 and I can no longer play any calls in any web browser on my system. I tried firefox, google chrome, edge. Doesn't matter they all just show " no calls in last 10 mins". What do I have to install or option set on windows 10 to be able to play this playlist or calls in my web browser? I don't get it . I'm stumped. I search the internet but can't find the answer. Thanks
My apologies for sleeping in class. How does one take their personal playlist and get it hosted for public listening? Playlist is built from other playlists, not from a scanner sitting at home "feed" setup.@blantonl thank you for your time and dedication to the planform. Working on a playlist that can be public for node 3647. Playlist is PPSTN MJ
See this post from the first page of this topic.
I've rolled out two public playlists for testing

If you are a calls provider and want to "publish a list" to a county, start building your playlists and soon I'll reach out here to solicit you to let me know about them so we can get them going.

This is the one I would like to have public, it is stone county (AR) Public Safety. That link is the link to it.
If you guys have playlists created that are appropriate for the public, please open a ticket with us at support@broadcastify.com and I'll have a look at publishing them.
This is generally due to regular feeds being around longer and are widely supported on more mobile apps and platforms. The calls system is still relatively new, with the client API just being released earlier this year allowing developers to add calls support to their apps and platforms. I'm sure it will get better with time as new features and supports are released. So, I have been providing a public playlist since the beginning and I believe I have tweaked it to be the best it is going to be. It is a conventional analog system. I do have some interference on occasion but it seems to be minimal (or it is a distant transmission that is too weak to pick up any voice). My scanner feed seems to have slightly better reception but not by much. Generally speaking, I think the audio quality is slightly better on the SDR.
I notice my scanner feed usually has 2-3 times more people listening than my Calls feed that has the same agency. If there is a large incident, it is even more than that. I think many people have the scanner bookmarked and don’t realize there is a Calls version of the scanner feed. The point of this post is that I am thinking of discontinuing my scanner feed and only have my Calls feed. The problem I have is that if I do that, I am afraid someone else will come in behind me and start a new feed that could be worse than what I currently provide. Any thoughts on this?

If you have no issues with providing both, I'd say keep doing so. Each method has its pros and cons. In addition to calls, many people also provide traditional feeds using an SDR rather than a scanner.
Same here..
My advice is to keep running both while promoting your CALLS public playlist.
I think most people (listeners and feeders alike) do not understand how powerful CALLS and playlists are, and most listeners don't even know it exists. I remember everyone hated playlists and questioned Lindsay about it at first, but he stayed persistent since he could see the benefits.
I myself just realized not long ago that you can listen to your own calls playlists, or public playlists, just like if it was a regular scanner feed with the Scanner Radio Pro app. This was a game changer for me being able to listen to a playlist on my phone as if it was a regular scanner feed. I don't even listen to my own scanner feeds anymore, I just listen to my custom playlists and my public playlist. More people need to know about this.
I even bought a domain name and just redirected it to my public playlist. So then I could tell people go to my website, and they could remember that easy website name to quickly go find my public playlist. But that's only good for desktop listeners.
I wish there was a way to share my public playlist link with a M. instead of a WWW. and it would go right to a built-in mobile scanner radio player just like you can do with your regular scanner feeds..
for example..
Norwich Fire Live Audio Feed it goes to the feeds desktop link
but if you just swap the www. with a m. then that link goes right to a scanner radio player.

I also feel we need better ways to get people to listen to our public playlists, from there they could learn to build their own playlists. Seems we just have to wait it out as Deziel said.
You should keep doing both while promoting your CALLs public playlist on your scanner page/social media as another , better way to listen, but you gotta somehow explain to people there is two ways to listen to a playlist...
1) Either on a desktop/PC with the direct link (stops playing on a phone once the screen shuts off)
or
2) Scanner Radio app which will play your playlist on your phone just as if it was a regular scanner feed.
In my description of the feed I provide I give everyone the info that the feed is available of Calls Platform and Public Playlist.
"San Jacinto, Polk, Trinity, Walker FD/EMS, Madison, Liberty, Counties, and other Depts when affiliated with TxWARN Towers. Also on Calls Platform, and public playlist Lake Livingston Area (TX)."
This has helped the number of folks using Calls and Public Playlist.
You should continue to do all of them.
I understand. You can add your public playlist on your scanner info page like Enforcer52 is saying. Some of your listeners may click it and find your public playlist that way.Thank you. I’ll continue with the scanner feed. Am I reading this right? I can listen to my non-published/private playlists with the Scanner Radio app? I see my public playlist but not the private ones or an option to do that.
You do bring up some really good points. Unfortunately, I am not on social media. Never really cared for it. I did have Facebook at one time due to family but no one really used it so I left. Maybe I should expand my horizons on social media. I did post on a forum related to my agency about my Calls feed and did see a slight uptick in listeners. I think it will just take time with people but I believe it will eventually come.
Getting a domain name sounds interesting. I won’t rule it out but I don’t think I am ready for that yet But maybe in the future.

And Yes.. I just noticed you can listen to your playlists, seems only on the Scanner Radio app, and not the Scanner Radio Pro? I have both apps but don't see it in the options on the Pro. But anyway you have to be logged in the Scanner Radio app with your Broadcastify account and its in the ALL menu when you browse feeds. (Broadcastify Calls Playlists)
