Calls public playlists

I just set up my new Calls ingest node today, and its working fine so far. However, I would like to create a public playlist of the two systems on it, Fire & EMS. I cannot seem to figure out how to do that, I can only create a private playlist, and I don't see a way to share it publicly.

What am I missing, or is there some sort of waiting period on a new Calls system to be able to do this, or does someone else manage the public playlists?

Public playlists have to go through Lindsay in order to be public. Send a request here. Ask to have your private playlist(s) made public. Make sure you add links in the request to your playlists. He will make them public.

Thanks I figured it was something like that. Once I have them all populated with the proper TG's i will make the request.

One quick question, once a playlist is marked as public, can I still modify it? Reason being that it can take some time to populate the TG's, like on my standalone system with Radio Scanner front end to SDR Trunk, it took weeks to even several months as not all TG's are active a lot, and I can't seem to search for a lot of them, some are in the manual search some are not.

So instead of waiting months, the vast majority of the TG's are up now, but the ones that populate later I could just check every few days and add them.

No, public playlists cannot be modified yourself. You can submit a help request to have changes made though.

That's not quite true. They're not locked. You should submit a notification though.

Deziel is definitely correct. Once a playlist is promoted to public, it cannot be modified without us doing it for you

Thats new. I used to be able to edit them.

I'll email you, Lindsay I have a few edits that need to be made to some of "my" public playlists.
