One of the things that I like to do from time to time is perform a search with my radio, under computer control, and have it log activity. I will go back and check the History Log and see what sort of subaudible signalling has been used. Some of the following are analog and have a PL/CTCSS or DPL/DCS code listed. Others are digital and have a Color Code associated with them. There is even a NXDN in there with a RAN listed. I didn't include an frequencies that have no subaudible signal with them. They could be legitimate signals, using carrier squelch or they could be inter-modulation or "mixing". Since I was not personally monitoring each transmission logged, I excluded them. There are some that are logged that are only 7.5 kHz apart, like 151.9400 and 151.9475 that list the same subaudible code. It is possible, perhaps even quite likely, that it is from the same source of signal.
These were logged using an omnidirectional antenna at about 40 feet above the ground. I am located in Rosemount MN 55068.
Since some people are finding themselves at home due to COVID-2019, this might be a fun exercise to determine who is using what frequencies and subaudible signalling.
So, with that in mind, who is using the following frequencies?
150.905000MHz Color Code 1
150.935000MHz Color Code 1
151.085000MHz RAN 48
