Live Audio Admins,

I'll be moving in the near future, and was wondering (without actually doing it yet), how to go about cancelling my feeds. Is it as easy as using the "Help Request" and asking an admin?

Second, when I started offering my first feed (August of 2009? I think), I had 270 days left of a Premium Membership. Since then, my user profile says my premium subscription has expired, but I was under the impression that a premium subscription would kick back in once I dropped my feeds (meaning if I had 270 days left when I started offering, then I should have 270 days left after I drop my feeds). Can someone clarify this quandary or does this need to go through L. Blanton?

Lastly, I'll be reapplying for a feed or two from my new location, if my premium membership kicks back in (for 270 days remaining), and I start hosting another feed, will I be allowed to keep my remaining premium subscription days (270 minus the down time between dropping and rehosting a separate feed) past that point?

I think you will find that your time has expired. I too had time left on mine, but being only 360 days each time it doesn't matter if in the mean time you put up a feed. It doesn't stop the clock so to speak. At least this is how I understand the situation. It was nice when it was active because I could take my feed OFFLINE and still have acess, now I can't so I got 2 feeds and do 1 at a time.

We can set your feed "inactive"(will not appear on RR but you will still have it)and set it to not be deleted and once you are ready to bring it back up just ask us to set it back "active". Please submit a "Help request".

Also, eaf is right. Once you bought the premium, the clock still continues to count down regardless if you host a feed or not.

That stinks...

As for the "inactive" status- I'll actually need to remove the feed entirely, as I'm moving away to another town, so technically it would need to be cancelled. I'll reapply from my new location, for an entirely different agency, and will just go through the normal application process then.

Thanks for y'all's help.

Just as an FYI, we don't actually delete feeds anymore when a provider request it to be deleted. We just tell them to stop broadcasting and let the system remove it after about 3 weeks. You don't need to submit the request to delete it, just put "feed being discontinued..." in the status field.

Thanks much!!
